“Will They Return” – Gilbert Rivera’s non–fiction account of his WWII experiences

Author Gilbert Rivera enlisted in the army at the age of 15 as a member of Company E. There, he literally grew up under the watchful eyes of his many “big brothers.” Several years later, he was transferred to assist in forming and training a new First Battalion with a new Company A. A bond of friendship was created in this group. But this time, he was the “old timer” at the ripe old age of 18.
